You Can Be a Hope Maker Too

Our community shows up for families touched by HIE in ways big and small. A sign held up in a stadium. A story shared with a stranger. A call to serve as Hospital Ambassador or Peer Support Mentor. Just as often, it's something quieter: a gift made that funds the work families depend on.

Every family finds their own way to make hope visible. Donations are what make all of those paths possible, funding the resources behind every program, every connection, and every moment of hope.

What Your Gift Supports

A gift to Hope for HIE helps families access support from the NICU through childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and bereavement. Families like Stephanie, pictured here with her son Jake at our 2026 Family & Community Conference, who have been using Hope for HIE's resources since Jake was just a baby.

"My husband Steve and I adopted our son Jake through the foster care system. He had severe HIE at birth. We connected to Hope for HIE shortly after his placement so we could find a group for support."

Today, Stephanie gives back as a peer support mentor, helping newer families feel less alone.

Your donations give tangible moments of hope and support for families through peer connection, social work and child life support, clinical research, advocacy, and awareness. Our support is always provided at no cost to families and ensures no one has to navigate HIE alone, no matter where they live or where they are on their journey.
