Traveling with Children with HIE: Support Group

Join Hope for HIE on Thursday, June 24, at 12:00 PM ET for a support group session for parents and legal guardians navigating travel with children who have HIE/complex medical needs.
➡️ This closed Zoom session will be led by our certified social worker, Jen, and facilitated by two of Hope’s Peer Support Mentors, Allison and Megan, along with community member Shawn. Together, they’ll help create a supportive space for families to share and connect around:
🎯 Practical tips for planning safe and comfortable travel with children who have medical and mobility challenges
🎯 How to pack and prepare essential medical supplies, equipment, and documentation for your trip
🎯 Strategies to manage sensory sensitivities, feeding needs, and medication schedules while away from home
