School-Age Outcomes that Matter for Mild HIE – An Interactive Session with Dr. Lina Chalak

Hope for HIE invites families impacted by Mild HIE to join an interactive session on Wednesday, January 28th, at 2:00 PM ET. This discussion is especially intended for families whose children have reached school age and are beginning to experience unexpected impacts—often without having been previously informed that such outcomes were a potential risk.

We’ll be joined by Dr. Lina Chalak, Principal Investigator of the COOL PRIME Mild HIE Cooling Study, who will engage with families to better understand real-world school-age outcomes. Insights shared during this session will help inform ongoing and future research efforts aimed at improving long-term outcomes and guidance for children with Mild HIE.
