Join Hope for HIE on Thursday, August 20, at 8:00 PM ET for a virtual support group session focused on HIE & Back-to-School Readiness — open to all parents and legal guardians preparing for the school year with children who have HIE and complex medical needs.
➡️ This closed Zoom session will be led by our certified social worker, Jen, and facilitated by Peer Support Mentor and Program Coordinator, Allison M. Together, they’ll help create a supportive space for families to share, learn, and connect around:
- Preparing school staff & sharing your child’s needs
- Navigating back-to-school checklists & IEPs
- Supporting your child emotionally
- Sharing tips, tools, and wins from parents
