2026 Family and Community Conference

Hope for HIE is excited to host our 2026 Family & Community Conference focusing on building connection, support and science April 24-26, 2026 in Boston, MA.

Hope for HIE's Family & Community conference is offered in a HYBRID format, livestreaming key sessions of the event from the beautiful Hyatt Regency Boston Hotel.

We are excited to put together a robust, meaningful, and exciting program that blends support, science and celebration of community for HIE families, across all impacts and outcomes, ages, and stages, and the broader HIE community of interest including scientists, community members, and others who are dedicated to advancing the unmet needs of the global HIE community.

Whether you bring your whole HIE family -- children, siblings, grandparents -- or you choose to make this a solo weekend to connect with others in the community, there is programming for all being planned by Hope for HIE staff and community volunteers. Loss families will have specific sessions of support offered in the community programming.

The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Boston Hotel. Once registration is complete, you will be sent a link to the Hope for HIE room block booking page for discounted hotel rooms.

There are some accessible guest rooms in the block. The venue has been scouted for accessibility to the conference facilites.

Note: You do not have to stay at the conference hotel to attend the conference.
